Kilgour Williams Capital is the only private credit manager in Canada focused on small balance loans made to prime borrowers in the US. Founded in 2007 to advise Canadian investors burdened with restructured asset-backed commercial paper on risk assessment, valuation, and liquidity access. KiWi advised on more than $2 billion of these structured notes before becoming an investment manager in 2017. Today, the firm’s two private credit funds, KiWi Private Credit Fund and KiWi Business Credit Fund, provide steady monthly distributions that are largely uncorrelated to public markets.
